US Exclusive cask in celebration of The Global Gathering 2021
We are simultaneously taking in the fresh air of a flower garden after a Spring rain and fresh linen on the clothesline on a dry Summer morning. Aromas of wildflower honey, ripe peaches, pears, white pepper and bold vanilla add plenty of volume to the neat nose. On the palate, we are hiking through fields of barley before a rest to enjoy an Old Fashioned cocktail. Dried oregano leaves, white and pink peppercorns and crêpes flambée round out the sweet and savoury make at full strength. The reduced nose transports us to Autumn with a walk through the forest with damp earth beneath our feet, orange peel and Angostura bitters still pervading the senses from our previous pitstop, and now reaching for a wintry Hot Toddy. The reduced palate offers delicacies of the cooler months - caramel apples, toffee brittle, spiced pears and cracked peppercorn accompany us as we delight in this adventure across all seasons!
