A lively and ‘full of fun’ aroma excited the panel, fruit flavoured love hearts, wine gums, fluffy honey sweetened marshmallows as well as passion fruit and banana Eton mess. Cuts like a knife on the palate at first with a gingery, peppery heat before a cooling Limoncello spritz cocktail (Limoncello, Prosecco and soda) came to the rescue. After reduction, the summery scent from an Amalfi coast lemon sorbet, watermelon granita and cream stuffed cannoncini combined with the taste of a kumquat mojito consisting of rum, sugar water, Prosecco, lime, fresh mint leaves and quartered kumquats. We experienced the Italian sweet life – la dolce vita!
