The panel were surprised by the apparent maturity of such a youngster. Richly fruity at first with notes of bubblegum, pear drops, juicy fruits, kiwi, watermelon, heather syrup, bramble bush, liquorice and dried cranberries. Further notes of coconut water, lemon blossom, gorse bush and citrus peels. With water we found baking soda, corn bread, buttercups, blackcurrant lozenges, chopped parsley, lanolin and toasted pumpkin seeds. The palate at first displayed new leather, butterscotch, fabric, grapefruit, lime curd and dried herbs. With rosewater, more coconut notes and pink peppercorns. Dilution brought out eucalyptus, menthol resins, chamomile tea, vanilla foam, salted caramel, dried mango and pine cones.
