Cask No. G15.39
The dentist's waiting room
$110
Hailing from the “Swiss Army Knife” distillery that brings us casks from 135, 122, 112 and G9, this expression uses 100% heavily peated malt distilled in a column still. Here we have a fulsome dram chock full of barbecued burnt ends, smoked fruit and honey. The nose may steer you to Islay, but the palate is all Highlands!

Tasting Panel Notes
The nose welcomed us into a dentist's waiting room, delivering the scents of clinical contraptions, a new carpet and insulating tape enveloping a stack of warm electronics. Rejecting the offer of dental floss, our palates were instead served barbecue burnt ends and cornbread, with a side of pineapple on a hickory slab. Water gave the nose a splash of rum punch, a bowl of peanuts and a self-assembly figurine kit. The palate finished triumphantly with a smoked fruit salad, topped with shredded mint and burnt rosemary in honey.
