Tasting Panel Notes

The class began at teacher's whiteboard, nosing the pens and observing plums and pears steeping in dessert wine. The palate echoed the nose, minus the pens. Ripe syrupy fruits topped key lime pie, an embodiment of sunshine. Water drew the dram's nose into a vanilla-forward position, with sandalwood and cedar a precursor to pine resin, fresh orange juice, poppy seeds and lemon curd. The finish was deserving of time, delivering more lemon and poppy seed (this time on a bagel), plus butter popcorn and burnt vanilla pods drawing things to a close.
