Fireside Favourites invites you to spark the senses with four unique single casks perfect for the season upon us! Whilst we start the fire and coorie in for the flight, pour a dram of Cask 37.125 Austrian treats to warm up the palate. Honey and cabinet spice take the lead with a decadent spread of dessert flavours to follow. The toast and char of this hogshead makes for a delicious start. Cask 115.14 Siehe, mein Apfelstrudel! keeps the confection going with luscious orchard fruit-based character before offering drier notions with water. This dram combines fruit and herbaceous richness in a beautiful ex-bourbon expression of surprising complexity. As the fire roars, we head to the Highlands with Cask 13.77 Foraging the forest floor – this unique expression, that goes against the grain of the distillery, starts off bright and fresh before turning richer and more coastal with sea salt and bonfires to compliment dried flowers. Fascinating and intense! Finally, Cask 53.298 Tokaji and tug boats brings brilliant maritime nuances into focus with hearty peat perfect for the fireside. Seafood and dessert wine nuances make this beautifully complex and utterly enjoyable. We recommend enjoying this flight with good friends and cozy slippers!
