A pleasingly textural impression at first. Immediate notes of cooking oils, soft waxes, lemon infused olive oil and dried thyme. Notes of pressed wildflowers, fresh daisies, white truffle oil, oregano and sweetened porridge. Water brings a rugged and gravelly minerality to the fore. Along with crushed aspirin, flints, stone fruits, arrowroot, baking soda and crisp cereals. Doughy notes of scone mixture and some cigarettes in a leather handbag. The palate is full of spiced custard, crushed digestives, lanolin, cloves, white pepper, menthol tobacco and cinnamon bark. Some dried orange slices and malty sinew. Water reveals peaches and cream, oatcakes, churned butter, candied lemon peel, dried papaya, wood spice, pine resin and mentholated tea tree oil.
