Cask No. 9.261
What a delight
$210
There’s nothing quite like a proper old-school Scotch that’s spent almost two decades maturing in oak. This rich and complex whisky offers layers upon layers of almond cake, toffee and worn leather, perfectly suited for an evening around the fire in the company of your loved ones. If you’re lucky enough to sip on a whisky as rare as this, you’re lucky enough!

Tasting Panel Notes
A very attractive nose announced Turkish delight, orange blossom and warm apple crumble served with custard, lemon sorbet and juicy blackberries. The flavours also hit the spot, as sponge cake arrived with a layer of peanut butter, meringue and thick cream plus a chilled glass of pina colada to enjoy on the beach. Water introduced layers of toffee, chocolate eclairs and freshly baked bread to complement rhubarb and almond cake, custard tarts and popcorn. Flavours had ventured to a spicier domain as cinnamon and nutmeg topped apple pie with strawberry jam, digestive biscuits and root beer.
