The aroma reminded us of the skin and flesh of ripe pears having been fermented, distilled and aged in glass demijohns to then mellow, making now the almost perfect Williams Christ pear schnapps with a sweet, fruity and refreshing scent. Equally fresh on the palate neat with the taste of a spicy sweet tea spritz cocktail accompanied by cinnamon salted caramel doughnuts. When we added water, we imagined sitting down for breakfast and enjoying a bowl of apple cinnamon quinoa with the flavours of sweet apple, cinnamon with hints of nutmeg and ginger and finally tangy Greek yogurt topped with toasted pecans and coconut.
