Cask No. 71.78

Melt-in-the-mouth biscuits

Speyside, Lossie

A summery bouquet of aromas with a fragrant floral rose scent, dandelions and lilies too as we prepared a picnic with strawberries and cream, vanilla lemon slices and Darjeeling & elderflower iced tea. A big fruity hit combined with a chilli heat on the palate neat; strawberries with balsamic black pepper or a spiced pineapple tart. Diluted we were transported to the Swiss summer Alps with yellow wildflowers on grassland slopes. As we appreciated the view to the snow-capped peaks we enjoyed a very quaffable Enzian (gentian spirit) out of a hipflask and melt-in-the-mouth biscuits of chocolate cream sandwiched between two crispy cookies.
