Speyside, Lossie
A delicate nose of soft, ripe orchard fruits, calvados, gooseberry cordial, elderflower champagne and runny honey. A crisp grassy and nettley zing as well. With a splash of water there’s custard, marsala wine, rosewater, blossoms, herbal teas, poire william, marshmallow teacakes and bay leaf. To taste it is initially herby and fresh with chopped parsley, herbal toothpaste and sorrel. Then fruitier with lemon infused olive oil, fruity waxes, sage, cherry cola cubes and red apple. Water brings out sweet fruit liqueurs, lemon jelly, candy floss, strawberry wine, honeyed oatmeal, flapjack and sultanas.
