We imagined sitting on a beach overlooking the Paps of Jura and barbequing bacon with brown sugar, chilli powder, cumin, red pepper and a good splash of whisky! Then one of us spotted an otter in the water relaxed on his back eating a crab while we enjoyed the experience of a mouth-coating sweet, salty, spicy and smoky sip neat – enduring happiness! With a splash of water, we could smell the smoky peat fire wafting from the kiln coming out via the pagoda-style roof and mingling with the salt sea air breeze while we enjoyed scallops, in the shells, with a sweet Asian dressing.
