We found this one had a beautiful nose, brimming with freshness and sunshine. Notes of sun lotion, butter beans, starched linens, bramble bushes, potting shed floors and sourdough starter. Water brought out grassiness, moss, petrichor, vase water and damp ferns. Green, vibrant and vividly fresh. The palate when neat started with a kick of cinnamon, then went wonderfully rich and buttery. Lots of lemon sherbet, thyme, butter biscuit, soda bread spread with honey and a splash of lemon cordial. Reduction enhanced the fruitiness with pineapple jelly, fruit salad juices, crisp cereals, lemon balm and herbal cocktail bitters.
