Imagine a lovely sandy beach which goes on for miles, the wind carrying the scent of the sea intermingled with the floral fragrant aroma of numerous wildflowers growing on the machair making this an invigorating experience. We take a rest and open our rucksacks to enjoy Millionaire’s shortbread, salted caramel, chocolate butter nut toffee and slices of rhubarb & ginger cake. With a drop of water we started to feel the cold and having made a driftwood campfire combined with hot cups of camomile tea infused with spiced apple we soon started to draw with our bare feet in the sand.
