Welcome your tasters with a fruity and robust dram of Cask 72.76 The desserted forest to tease and awaken the palate. Buttery confection, spice and tropical fruits will make for a brilliant aperitif whisky. Head to the Highlands for Cask 96.28 Granny juice for considerably more intensity and texture. This dram combines fruit and herbaceous richness in a beautiful ex-bourbon expression of a whisky that is usually all dressed up in sherry. Pair it with a bounty of rich side dishes and turkey smothered in gravy. As dessert hits the table, we switch to peated whisky and juxtapose two different styles of smokiness. Cask 66.153 Herbs on a grill tray represents a delicious example of Highland peat with herbs and cool charcoal smoke. Cask 53.301 Tenticles around a wine glass brings the ocean influence of Islay peat into focus with plenty of maritime nuances that complement a core of ripe fruits.
