We present a compelling taste comparison for you. Cask 7.145 Park bench assignation and Cask 7.151 Lebkuchen and marron glacés are “sister” casks. They were distilled on the same day and both 12 years old. While this might lead one to believe they are nearly identical in taste, the opposite is true. The former dotes on flowers, citrus fruit and vanilla confection while the latter brings chocolate, tropical fruit and gingery spice. They bring to light the diversity that makes single cask selection so exciting. We, as Society members, get to taste the most individual expressions of Scotch whisky available.
