Let’s warm up your palate with Cask No. 35.292 Canvas in the breeze for a lively dram offering bright green apple, honey and sweet malted barley notes. Cask No. 30.118 Head in the clouds offers sherried decadence and quite a punch. Weighing in at 67% ABV, the palate is surprisingly balanced and oozing with nutty chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and wood spices. We complete the tasting on Islay with seriously smoky Cask No. 53.373 The gourmand maltster. this fully peated malt reminded our Tasting Panel of a smoked bacon and pancake breakfast with cinnamon clove syrup. Enough said! This tantalizing trio will keep spirits soaring whilst home for the holidays.
