Six single casks set the stage for your journey with flavour as your guide. Kick it off with a ‘young & spritely’ Cask 48.118 Trekking in the jungle for a wild opening number! Mint, citrus and exotic spices accent the herbal and earthy trip you’re in for. Our next two casks hail from the northern Highlands with immense flavour to offer. Cask 26.161 Put the pebble to the petal! boasts beautifully floral appeal with a beam of minerality running through the palate. Citrusy and bright, the hallmark waxy texture of this malt shines through from start to finish. For an equally inviting Highlander, look to Cask 13.82 Life’s simple pleasures saw additional maturation in a Cosecha wine cask for deeper aromas and flavours in the glass. Dried fruits, chocolate, coffee and rum are just a few descriptors that encompass this pulse-quickening dram. We are back in the Speyside for another exhilarating malt in Cask 107.21 Bounty on the galleon. Sherry lovers will soak this one up as all eight years of its life were spent in a refill Sherry butt. Spices, figs, a quick cigar and a decadent lunch of “slow cooked roast Seville orange-glazed duck served with red cabbage and a madeira wine gravy” make this a special bottle not to be missed. Finally, Cask 66.186 Bivouac breakfast invites us to cozy up to a picturesque morning by the campfire. Highland peat offers woodsmoke, bacon and oily notes whilst maintaining a freshness that elevates the palate. A fine way to finish the flight and understand a bit more about your own whisky rhythm!
