This was like reading a good poem, mindfully savouring, reading and rereading, deliberately stopping to contemplate and allowing time to let one’s mind pause, linger and wander to reveal emotions associated with the aroma as it develops in the glass. To taste an absolute delight, “stirring my soul”, “a slow-moving river meandering between bosky banks” - as it was gently warming and both uplifting and grounding at the same time. Be very careful when adding water, sitting in an antique wooden rocking chair and nibbling on dried cranberries, blueberries and white mulberries – a symphony of sweet, sharp, tart and tangy flavours.
