Lemon angel pie

Fresh and fruity on the nose neat; white mints and cool pure pressed white grape juice next to buttery sponge cake and white chocolate nougat. A delicate sweetness on the palate at first but soon followed by a dry citric and spicy attack which left quite a long-lasting hot trail. The aroma with water changed to freshly laundered sheets, hints of lavender as well as almond croissants and lemon angel pie (lemon meringue pie with plenty of whipped cream). To taste now, fresh and light with a hint of astringent saltiness, green olives and sherbet lemons – a perfect aperitif.
