Svelte and shapely
Highland, Eastern
Clean, sweet and fruity like a late-harvest white wine with an exotic bouquet of orange peel, pineapple and passion fruit complimented by lime and red apples. On the palate an initial perfumed sweetness was balanced by a juicy fruity freshness and a surprising chalky and dry finish of brut nature Champagne. On the nose, with water, hints of Turkish delight next to citrus essence, honeyed green apples, starfruit and in the back some toasty nuances. To taste a sense of complexity, depth but still a youthful freshness reminding some of the creamy fruitiness of lemon meringue pie with black pepper pastry – svelte and shapely!
