We were in a Tuscan village taking a front seat in a plaza at a Pasticceria, soaking up the warm sun as well as the aroma of roasted coffee and freshly baked spiced grape cake with orange zest. On the palate we found fruity succulent black cherries bursting with the sweetness after many days spent in the sun. With a "poca acqua" the nose opened up to an enticing experience of rolled shortbread biscotti with plum jam and to taste we got served a glass of perfectly chilled velvety Vin Santo - a traditional Italian dessert wine.
