A buttery and oily nose at first. Lots of flapjack, honeyed oatmeal, soft wood spices, fragrant earthiness, wood polish, lime oil, light waxiness and sheep wool. With water there’s chip fat, mown lawns, sawdust, mustard powder, sandalwood, ink wells, umami paste, hay and fermenting lemons. To taste this one is full of clay, mineral oils, soot, cornflour, bittermints, caraway, rosehip tea, green pepper, wildflowers, mint choc chip ice cream and fruit salad syrups. With reduction it gets juicier with notes of fruity chewing gum, fruit salad chews, ripe banana, sunflower oil, vanilla essence, wood spices, hot cross buns and blueberry muffins.
