The aroma reminded us of a freshly cut lawn on a warm autumn morning surrounded by an apple orchard, as well as Hawaiian pizza with the pineapple just beginning to caramelise around the edges. Lovely sweet and mouth-coating like a strawberry and cream Frappuccino with plenty of whipped cream on top. After the addition of water, marzipan, crème brûlée and vanilla poached pears with rum and apricot sauce, while on the palate silky, smooth, sweet and minty. This was just the thing to cool you down on a hot day – spiced green apple granita; a frozen blend of apples, sugar, a pinch of sea salt and sriracha.
