Notes

A Wondrous World of Flavour! invites you to pull up the deck chairs, grab a few tasting glasses and settle in for a sunset tasting to impress! Our ‘high five’ bundle of flavour-packed pours is certain to provide cask-strength entertainment for you and your whisky-loving friends! We start in the Highlands with Cask 135.32 Bowling green libations – a ‘Sweet, fruity & mellow’ cask sure to get the palate popping with fresh fruits, citrus and floral notes. Our Tasting Panel likens this dram to a margarita cocktail so we’re kicking off the summer tasting in proper style! Next the ‘Juicy, oak & vanilla’ Cask 6.44 Summer garden adventures keeps the seasonal vibe going with orchard fruit, cabinet spice, herbs and vanilla in an expression that lives up to every bit of its flavour profile. We now enter two ends of the sherry spectrum with our next pair of malts. Cask 30.114 The nutcracker matured 5 years in Oloroso cask and an additional 2 years in a toasted sherry butt. The result is an amazing ‘Spicy & dry’ flavour profile laced with roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate and salted caramel. Cask 44.140 The fruits of one's labours derives its ‘Spicy & sweet’ flavours from additional maturation in a Pedro Ximenez cask - hazelnut chocolate chunk cookies, pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns and coconut cake are all accounted for by our expert Tasting Panel. A decadent juxtaposition of sherried styles! Now the sun has set, the fire pit is roaring and our last dram will compete with your woodsmoke…. Cask 16.51 ‘A bit of a beast’ is aptly named for a dram bearing the ‘Heavily peated’ flavour profile. This expression is utterly dominated by plumes of hickory smoke, wood char, ash and burning bush. Sprinkles of juicy orchard fruit, spices and herbs make appearances to enhance the complexity of this beautiful beast! A cigar in one hand and this dram in the other seems the perfect pair to end your evening with and go straight to the dreamland!

If sold separately: Cask 135.32= $100; Cask 6.44= $110; Cask 30.114= $105; Cask 44.140= $140; Cask 16.51= $105.
