We initially found ourselves in an oil painter’s art studio, canvas, wooden easels, paints and turps whilst in the background there were also sweet notes of caramel wafers and slices of a pineapple & coconut cake – you get the picture. For lunch the artist had marinated mozzarella, cherry tomato and basil salad as well as a puff pastry apple turnover. With water the aroma was that of lychee and white chocolate macarons and peach toffee tartlets whilst on the palate now clean, light and fresh as Peach Melba ice cream with a raspberry sauce and tangy key lime pie.
