We imagined sitting on a sandy beach surrounded by rocky cliffs and pine trees starting a bonfire as we watched the sunset over the ocean. Passing the time, we ate wasabi peas, cucumber sticks with Chaat Masala, a combination of savoury, fragrant and salty Indian spices, chilli rice crackers and Nori, Japanese roasted seaweed. After a drop of water, we added driftwood to the open fire and started roasting chestnuts as well as marshmallows. Someone handed round a bag of dark chocolate covered Brazil nuts whilst others were munching chilli salted chocolate and ginger honeycomb or breaking off a piece from a tangy creamy Sicilian lemon chocolate bar.
