The comforting aroma of fig rolls, orange sponge cake and chocolate-covered roasted hazelnuts served with a glass of iced caramel cloudy macchiato made us feel free and borderless ‘above the clouds’. Extremely pleasant on the palate neat, with a well-balanced wood spice and brown sugar sweetness to start, followed by melted butter mixed with crushed ginger biscuits. Water brought out a whipped dark chocolate mousse sprinkled with pistachio shavings which gave it the lovely creamy texture of caramelized peaches with fresh rosemary as well as mocha fudge brownie ice cream. The finish that awaited us with a surprise of blue raspberry liquorice wheels.
