You’ll be spreading the holiday cheer with six unique Society casks perfect for home entertaining and gifting to your friends this season! Delight seasoned connoisseurs and burgeoning whisky lovers alike with this flight certain to have palates singing. Our first trio of casks all spent time in ex-bourbon casks for the entirety of maturation. Cask 26.146 Kleine leine kicks things off with coastal minerality and herbal notes, all ensconced in the hallmark texture of this storied distillery. Next, Cask 71.76 Scent with love delivers beautiful floral aromas that lead to chocolatey flavours on the palate, spiked with ginger and tropical fruit accents throughout. We delve deeper into the Speyside with Cask 12.44 Kumquats and acrobats and are treated to salted caramel, honey-roasted nuts, vanilla and exotic fruits galore! Our next trio sees additional maturation in different casks for a delightful flavour exploration. After nine years in a bourbon barrel, Cask 59.62 The perfect catch was aged for two years in a first-fill Sauternes barrique. The white dessert wine influence lends bright orchard fruit and honey to a crisp and savoury palate. Cask 39.201 Big flavours ahead garners its bold spiciness and firm oak flavours from two years in a shaved, toasted and re-charred barrique. The distillery’s benchmark floral and tropical notes lend enviable balance to this exciting dram. Our final Cask 112.64 Warm as home-baking, sunny as Provence transports the palate to a place made possible by a charred red wine barrique. Spiced plums, treacle tart, tobacco, dates and so much more are in store with this complex malt from the Highlands….a pleasing way to end our festive collection of holiday cheer!
