Our first cask sets the perfect mood…. Cask No. 9.217 Spring is in the air bursts with exuberance and zest with citrus, honey and herbs to match with an Epicurious recipe for Citrus-Oil-Marinated Spring Vegetables. This complementary appetizer will get the party started! Cask No. 12.58 Cloud disperser dials up the chocolate and caramel along with robust spices so we think a lightly fried spring delicacy will work wonders as a contrasting course. Bon Appetit’s Ramp Fritters brings earthy and oily flavours to balance out the dram’s sweetness. For a main course, we’re complementing AND contrasting with a Pork and Pickled Spring Carrot dish from Food & Wine to pair with Cask No. 68.66 Insanity dram – this complex mouthful of whisky has both sweet and savoury character that will beautifully match with the elements of the dish for a bold culinary adventure!
