Our feast of flavours starts in the Highlands with ‘young & spritely’ Cask 82.30 Workstation expectation to awaken your palate with fruity, vanilla-spiced intensity. This flavour profile is always great to start with when tasting several casks. Now that we have your palate’s attention, let’s get into a ‘sweet, fruity & mellow’ malt from a distillery rapidly gaining popularity among members – Cask 9.187 Transcending realms is a beautiful sixteen-year-old single malt that exudes an air of elegance and grace. Vivid tropical fruit aromas and flavours are accented by floral and exotic spice notes as more vanilla and fudge lead the way on the nuanced finish. Also sixteen-years old, Cask 7.254 Brings a sheen to the glass dials up the texture with luscious stone fruit and tropical character and increased cask influence. Barrel char, heather and honey lock you in as more ripe fruits come through the finish on this connoisseur’s favourite make. We return to the Highlands with Cask 28.51 Classical and fulsome for a vibrant expression to finish with. Honey and vanilla lead the way as brown sugar, cinnamon buns and doughnuts join in the flavourful fun. Classic ‘spicy & sweet’ whisky from a stalwart of the southern Highlands. Slàinte!
