A heady sweet floral bouquet of aromas like when preparing a Tailgate Sipper cocktail using chopped pineapple, bourbon whiskey, sparkling water, fresh lemon juice and vanilla extract. Luscious juicy fruits on the palate neat, nectarine, mango, pear and apricot with the delightful background of tart citrus, oak char, wood spice and dark chocolate bitterness. Water softened the nose with aromas of white grapes, candy floss, melted butter as well as ice cream (rum and raisin and passion fruit). The taste was now so mellow and sweet as we took a slice of lavender pear almond frangipane tart served with a honey cinnamon ice cream.
