An aromatic profile that initially displayed curious notes of ink, printer paper and toner. Also petrol notes that evolved towards lime zest and white flowers. Unusual and very fun we agreed. Reduction revealed crumbled oatcakes, herb butter, under-ripe melon and baclava. To taste this one was sharp and peppery with lemon rind, cooking oils, cereals, hessian ands dried flowers. Water opened things up and brought more breads and pastries, scrunched newspaper, dried tarragon, coal scuttles and umami paste. The kind of dram we imagined the replicator on Star Trek might produce.
