Winter Seasonal Selection

It’s our 2022 Seasonal Selection Series finale! Winter officially begins next week, and we have been chomping at the bit to share our fourth and final exclusive cask to complete the first year of our new collectors’ series! With each turn of the season, American members of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society may look forward to a pitch perfect cask chosen specifically for that time of year. From pairing with seasonal fare to pouring for special occasions, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter will bear a special cask exclusive only to our American members. Cask No. 95.53 Boozy Basket presents a decadent dram for members to cozy up to these winter months. Fifteen years of maturation in ex-bourbon and American oak PX casks has endowed this malt with rich caramel, toffee and chocolate that are brought to life with bursts of fruit liqueur flavours. Time to throw on your whisky sweater!

Today’s winter selection took home big awards from the two most important competitions in the US! Cask No. 95.53 earned a Double Gold Medal from the SF World Spirits Competition and a ‘Chairman’s Trophy Finalist’ award and 94-point score from Paul Paccult’s NY-based Ultimate Spirits Challenge! Due to the expected high popularity of this release, Cask No. 95.53 will not be available for ordering today. Instead, we invite interested members to enter the raffle below for a chance to order Cask No. 95.53. Entries must be completed by Monday December 19th at 1pm ET. Winning member names will be drawn at that time. They will be contacted shortly thereafter and will have 48 hours to order their bottle (until Wednesday 12/21).
