A swirl of butter and cream mingled with toasted cereals and nuts while a fruity streak wholeheartedly endorsed green mango, banana skin and papaya with a squeeze of lime and a sprinkling of grass cuttings. Initial sweetness of caramel, buttery toffee and vanilla sponge cake danced on the tongue before strawberries, raspberries and tinned apricots joined pencil shavings in custard. With water came a flood of juicy orange, pineapple and ripe mango with herbal notes that touched on tarragon, fennel and green olives. Traditional lemonade gave an effervescent fizz alongside green apples, nectarines and peach before the finish arrived carrying hazelnut brittle, cask char and dried spices.
